After receiving his medical degree from George Washington, University, Dr. Teitel stayed in the District of Columbia to complete a residency in internal medicine at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
From there, he went on to finish three years of fellowship training in rheumatology at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
With board certification in internal medicine and rheumatology, Dr. Teitel treats patients at his private practice and serves as a clinical associate professor of medicine at New York University Langone Health in New York City.
Dr. Teitel has published in multiple medical journals and presented rheumatology research to professional groups. He also retains privileges at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
